Having been in the Time and Attendance business for over 25 years we think we have seen all the possible combinations of weird and wonderful rules, but every now and then another one pops up.
A persons target hours for a normal day are 8. However if the person doesn't work on a Public Holiday they get paid 6 hours normal time and 2 hours over time. At first we would always ask why would you want to do that? Now we just go ahead and adapt the software accordingly.
Or your staff arrive at work a 07:00 and work until 12:00 they then knock off and return to work at 19:00 until 07:00 the next morning AND all the hours must fall within the same shift.
At first we would always ask why would you want to do that? Now we just go ahead and adapt the software accordingly. No rules are too strange for TurboTime.
The most important part of any T & A systems is the setup of your shifts. if your shifts are not correct your results will be wrong.
TurboTime has many settings within the shift setup which accommodate the majority of rules that exist in the business world, including "smoke break allowance" and even a global pay bonus if the daily target is worked. Let us know if we have forgotten anything.
Most companies working hours follow a set pattern i.e. one week night shift followed by a week of afternoon shift and then a week of day shift, this cycle then repeats itself indefinitely.
Restaurants and Service Stations very rarely operate with any pattern whatsoever. TurboTime gets around this with schedules.
You as the employer tell the system who works what shift in what day, we even tell you how may people are OFF how many on day shift etc.
